About Integrated Horticulture Services

Integrated Horticulture Services (IHS) was launched in 2015 by owner/directors Jake and Ena Witchell. The company provides an integrated approach to horticulture offering services in nursery products, establishing and maintaining parks and gardens and landscaping services.

Jake and Ena have worked in horticulture in various roles for more than 10 years. Between them, they have extensive experience in nursery work (especially propagation), establishing and maintaining parks and gardens (including public amenities such as local parks and sporting fields) and landscaping. Both hold qualifications in horticulture. Ena has additional qualifications related to nursery operations and bushland regeneration whilst Jake has additional qualifications in landscaping and arboriculture.

With five permanent staff and a short list of hand-picked subcontractors with specialist horticultural qualifications and skills, Jake and Ena oversee day-to-day activities and ensure each job runs to schedule and to budget.

Nursery Services

Integrated Horticulture Services offer a suite of services targeting the nursery industry and gardeners. These services include:

• Identifying weeds and plant (send us a photo or bring into the Nursery)
• Testing and improving soil or growing media
• Propagating and potting services
• Diagnosing and treating pest, disease and plant disorders
• Installing and maintaining indoor plant displays for offices and homes
• A wide range of native and exotic plants and shrubs for sale
• Wholesale deliveries
• Garden products including soils, mulches and treatments

Landscaping Services

Integrated Horticulture Services offer a range of landscaping services for organisations and individuals. These services include:

• Providing consultancy services for outdoor plant and garden design
• Creating plans and concepts for the garden
• Creating driveways, walkways and paths (pavers, concrete, gravel and stone)
• Installing retaining walls, water features and shade features such pergolas
• Machine and equipment hire
